REGULATIONS AND PROCEDURE

An Institution which is progressive keeps Rules and Regulation to a minimum. GLEE ACADEMY strongly believes that the Rules herein inscribed are for the safety of the children, and for an order that instils within the students a sense of well-being and of being taken care. Parents and Guardians may please note that the regulations mentioned below are adhered to by them and instilled in their wards.

  • Students must come in full school uniform. Uniform must be clean and tidy. Coloring of hair and prohibited hair style is not tolerated. (Tuesday and Friday –Track suit)
  • Students must wear the identity card during school hours.
  • Students must bring the required materials i.e. pencils, pens, homework, books etc each day.
  • Any behaviour or activity which harms other students such as bullying, verbal abuse, using foul language is not tolerated. The school may take disciplinary action against students whose behaviour is against the school’s code of conduct.
  • Students are not allowed to carry valuable items like jewellery, mobile phones, cameras, expensive watches and other electronic gadgets to school. If such items are found, it will be confiscated by the school management and will be returned to guardians/parents only on an agreed condition.
  • Students must be punctual to school and use time wisely.
  • Students are expected to obey all instructions given by teachers and administrations.
  • Students are not allowed to enter other classes and unauthorized places without permission.
  • Students are not allowed to visit shops, restaurants or cafes situated around the school.
  • Students must inform in advance in case of absence via leave note or telephone call to the class teacher.
  • Students are expected to be polite and courteous to all the teachers, co ordinators, non teaching staff members and helpers. Students must speak English.
  • If students face any kind of discrimination, harassment, verbal/physical abuse or find themselves in an uncomfortable situation in school, they must report it to the teacher/ coordinator/vice-principal or principal immediately.
